We live just south of the Spokane valley in the beautiful state of Washington. We live near a small town called Mica and are very close to the base of a beautiful mountain called Mica Peak. We take our dogs for regular hikes on Mica Peak where they can really enjoy being dogs and having fun time off - leash. We live on a small farm with five acres that includes a huge fenced area for the dogs to play. Our dogs are kept in the house with us most of the time and our puppies are raised inside where they can be socialized with love and constant attention. As they get older they are taken outside with supervision so that they can also be socialized to the outdoors.
We are a small family oriented breeder of only the finest quality golden retrievers. We breed for beauty, athletic ability, and wonderful temperaments. We only have occasional litters, which we will post on our web site.
We receive many comments from past puppy purchasers complimenting us on how well our puppies are socialized and how loving they are. We care very deeply about each and every pup and only sell the pups to approved homes. When you purchase your puppy you receive a puppy packet that includes information on both sire and bitch, pedigrees and pictures. We also have a contract that the puppies are sold on limited registrations unless they are going to a show home. Limited registration means that the puppy cannot be bred and you will agree to spay or neuter your pet. This prevents people from purchasing puppies for puppy mills rather than a loving pet. We also do not believe in keeping puppies or even adult dogs in crates for long periods of time. Our puppies must go to homes that will keep the puppy in the home with them and have sufficient room outdoors for the puppy to play and run and be safe. The only time we use crates is for traveling or sleeping. Golden retrievers are very people oriented dogs and will not thrive being left in a crate for long hours at a time. We will not sell a puppy to anyone that does not have the proper time or commitment it takes to continue to raise a well balanced pup. We do everything we can to make sure the pups leave us well socialized.
Therefore we expect the new owners to do the same. We ask that new owners let us know how their pup is doing and to send pictures whenever possible since we love to see our pups as they grow up. We have several local pups that come back for hikes and baby sitting. If we are available we will provide baby sitting services to any pup that is purchased from us for a small fee of $10.00 a day.
